Interactive pin map
The board is drawn from the top, with the USB socket at the top. The left column runs 1 to 20 top down; the right column runs 40 down to 21 top down. Click any pin.

Rules that matter
- Every GPIO pin on the Pico W works at 3.3 V. Never connect a 5 V signal straight into a GPIO pin.
- Pin(16) in MicroPython means GPIO16, which is physical pin 21. GPIO numbers and physical pin numbers are two different numbering systems.
- VBUS, VSYS, 3V3_EN, ADC_VREF and RUN stay unused for the whole course. The board is powered from the USB cable.
- Physical pin 38 is the common ground reference used by every circuit in this course.
